Dragonfly Tag

For DragonsDream TIO - Winged Things -.
I stamped the grassblades, sponged the sun and wrote the haiku (A blade of grass whereon, in vain, a dragonfly attempts to light ) on a tag. Then stamped the dragonfly on parchment and adhered with eyelets.

Weird Wings

For Just For Fun - Something, Anything All things t!m -
Try it on Tuesday - Weird and Wonderful - (Sponsored by One Stop Card and Crafts).
Background lines are from a t!m stamp, I used t!m's Grungeboard letter S for the creature and made some 'waves' with Crackle accents, also a dot Crackle accents for the eye.

A world all her own

Clean & Simple for Stampotique Designers Challenge SDC#32.
I stamped & heat-embossed the background with gold, spunged a sunset and decided to write the lyrics (instead of stamping) on Parchment. Adhered the parchment with eyelets.

Philosophy

For the challenge on Tag Tuesday - Manly (masculine) tag -.
The background and stamping is done with various distress inks. The philosopher is stamped on acetate with stazon black and adhered with eyelets.

Distressed Tag

For Grungy Monday 10 Distress Ink-o-Rama and for Simon Says Stamp and Show a Tag.
Background and stamping is done with Pumic Stone, Broken China, Crushed Olive, Vintage Photo and ofcourse Back Soot. Edges are sanded and heat-embossed with Black Soot Embossingpowder.

Crazy4Challenges has an inspiration challenge this week.
I used the direct-to-paper technique with distress inks to create the background with the colors of the challenge.

I love cats

For the challenge on Sunday Stamper - stash that makes you happy -.
I just lóve working with alcohol inks and my cats make me always feel happy, even if they jump on my crafttable and make dirty footprints on the paper I am working with.
I dropped alcohol inks on an acrylic heartshaped block with some blending solution and placed it on glossy paper. Then cut it out and stamped the cat (cherry pie).
Also for Stamps R Us - Pets R Us! - and The Spotlight Challenge - Challenge yourself -. Although I love working with alcohol inks, this is the first time I tried making a background on an acrylic block. I had to try several times before I was happy, but I do think I will try this again!

My Hero

My dad is my hero................
The colours I used are various shades of brown. The darkest brown doesn't fit the monochrome that well, I agree, so I made another with the matching colors from Adirondack: Pebble-Lake Mist-Mushroom.

I made a background with alcohol ink, crushed the paper to a ball, then flattened it a bit, put versamark on the 'cracks' and heatembossed with black embossingpowder. Flattened further and stamped some dots, flowers and leaves on it.
