Resist
Art Journey Design Team Challenge #76: Resist

Determined
January Challenge on A Vintage Journey: Going Round in Circles.
I made a page in my 6 x 6 " journal.
First I applied Distress Micro Glaze through a steampunk stencil, then sprayed fozzilised amber ink.
Dried with heattool.
Another layer Micro Glaze through a large circle stencil and rusty hinge spray ink.
Third layer Micro Glaze through small circle stencil and Mermaid Lagoon spray ink.
Then stamped the images (Art Journey).
Around the edges with Distress Rusty Hinge, Broken China and Walnut Stain.
Glued some gears.
Finished with copper ink and black gesso circles.

What's the news?
Lost Coast Portal to Creativity - Challenge #32 Anything Goes.
First a layer of fluid acrylic Green Hue, then dripped 70% Alcohol on it.
After drying, a second layer of Yellow opaque and splattered some water on it.
When dry sealed with gel medium.
Then stamped the images with archival black.
Rubbed petroleum jelly (vaseline) on the main image and some parts of the paper and put a layer of Phtalo Blue on.
After drying wiped off the paint that's on the vaseline.
Then some more vaseline and a layer of white acrylic paint.
After drying stamped the text on the paint with stazon midnight blue, and let the ink dry thorougly
Wiped off the paint and it looks like torn (news)paper on the card.
Got my inspiration from a tutorial by Andy Skinner :-)
