First a layer of white gesso, added some structure.
Then distress oxide iced spruce, grey paint & lots of water.
Black ink through a stencil.
Stamped and cut out the boys, coloured with distress markers.
Glossy accents in the eyes.

For Viva Las Vegastamps May Challenge

Background Distress Oxide Broken China mixed with Cracked Pistachio to get a turquoise feeling.
Added a little Iced Spruce for some grey.
Stamped the wire rings with the same colours, the rest in black.
Draw some circles through a stencil, coloured and added some glossy & crackled accents.
Fisnished with a few stripes washi tape and some rub-ons.

Colored the clothing with Spectrum Noir Sparkle and used stickles on the hair and underneath the feet. Finished with drops of gold ink.

I love creating backgrounds with the distress paint marbling technique !
So that's what I did.....

For Viva Las Vegastamps April Challenge

The background is done with distress oxide cracked pistachio,broken china and water.
Several layers, in between drying with heattool.
When I was happy with it, I stamped the images; love that sheet !
Colouring is done with distress markers.

My inspiration came from the colours green, teal & white, and whimsical.

Made for Lost Coast Portal To Creativity - Challenge #34 - Black & White.

First stamped with versamark, then brayered ColorBox black ink over the page.
Stamped a second time (trying to create a little shadow) with archival black & heat-embossed.
Used a borderstamp with white gesso.
The moon is done with color box white ink.
Some accents with black gesso.
At the bottom grit-paste, colored a bit with black distress crayon.

Made for Stampinback challenge march - Green/Blue/White.
Background is done with distress oxide inks & stencils.
Elephants are colored with distress marker stormy sky.
Grit-paste is colored with distress crayon peeled paint.
Accents with stencil and white gesso.
Spritzed faded jeans with airbrush.

Steampunk

Made for SanDee & Amelie's Steampunk Challenges  - March 2017

Background is done with gelliplate, paint & a large steampunk stencil.

Then I sponged around a silhouette stencil, added some torn pieces of paper (from an old schoolbook). Stamped the hat and some gears with black ink.

Used grunge paste with a smaller steampunk stencil and coloured with distress crayons rusty hinge &  vintage photo. 

Stamped some more gears with distress oxide and added embellishments. 

Darkened the edges with distress crayon walnut stain.

The inspiration:
Think of twilight & dusk, the northern lights, dancing and twinkling stars, beautiful skies in general and silhouettes against them. Trees, leaves, nature, animals, woods and more! We can't wait to see your inspiration
