Lime & Teal

For this month's challenge on Viva Las Vegastamps I made a journalpage with tags.

My inspiration came from patterns, doodles, lime, teal.
Tried to make a haiku based on lime & teal.

We'd like to inspire you with words like green, lime, teal, blue, black & white, bright, dots,circles, plants, leaves, sketchy, foliage, chevrons, script, doodles, other patterns, and more!

This is my take on Tim's 12 tags of 2015 november

Used Salty Ocean paint on the background stamp for the resist and sprayed Fossilized Amber&Twisted Citron over it.
Sponged with Ground Espresso inkpad.
For the gold accents around the edges I first sprayed Tarnished Brass on my fingers, wiped a bit on the tag, then put gold paint over it with an old creditcard.

Also for DragonsDream Tag It On TIO #195 No. 1

Background made with Distress inkpad Squeezed Lemonade, Distress spray Tarnished Brass, Distress refill Seedless Preserves and water.

Faces stamped on twinchies cut out of a piece of paper made with gelli plate and acyllic paint.

Edges sponged with Distress Walnut Stain.

Here is my take on Tim's tags of 2015 - july.

No 4th of july in The Netherlands, but the colours of our flag are red, white & blue, so I took those colours and I chose for the theme Da Vinci.

Just purchised the hickory smoke distress pad last week, so I am glad I can use it on this tag.

Still am not happy that the fired brick marker has a brownish colour, it is so different than the inkpad, but what can you do...
That's why the ribbon doesn't have that touch of red, but then again I could have used the festive berries (thought came in mind after I finished colouring).

First sponged the manilla tag with Distress Walnut Stain, then brushed some Crackle Paint on.
Stamp Stampotique. Accents with paper flowers and tissue tape.
Text with sharpie.

Now it is finished I noticed the text stamp is all wrong.
It should say Mon coeur est en Paris.
Better throw it in the bin.... the stamp I mean :-)

Made the custom blend with Tumbled Glass/Peacock Feathers/Faded Jeans.

I airbrushed mermaid lagoon & cracked pistachio on the wet paper; used cracked pistachio & antique linen for colouring the building and pumice stone for shadow.
Airbrushed pumice stone on the dried paper.

Really loved creating this one.
I used white gesso with the stencil since I don't have texture paste.
Only have 3 colours of distress paint at this moment, but surely will get me some more !

My take on Tim's Tag 2015 February

This was fun !
I don't have the picket fence paint, but I used the stain and the marker.
That worked for me.
Instead of glue n' seal I used gel medium matt.

12 tags of 2015 !!

This year I hope being able to try them every month.

This my try on january tag.
Didn't have all the supplies ofcourse, but it is a challenge to use what you have in stock.
I wrinkled tissuetape, distress paints, distress stains in a mini mister with some water for the background.
Painted black gesso through a stencil for the 5 and covered with glossy accents and glitters.
Used rub-ons and a Sakura Gold pen-touch for the letters.
With a brush I spattered white gesso and for the gold accents I used the Sakura pen.
