I stamped (and heat-embossed) the cat and sponged the background with Distress Ink Milled Lavender. For the sun and the edges I used Adirondack Lemonade.

In real the colors are much softer, the scanner doesn't like orange I think... I used Le Plume 75 Sky Blue marker both for the sky and the water.

Exotic bird

Background is made with Adirondack Inks on a heart shaped Acrylic Block. The bird & flowers are cut out pictures and the swirls are stamped. On the heart of the flowers and the eye of the bird are some drops of crackle accents.

Texture

For the challenge on Theme Thursday - Texture and/or Layers -.
I made the background with red paint and gesso, stamped the 'angel', made lines with a white gelpen, some gesso circles, on one of them I put crackle-accents and added and a few embellishments.
