Winter

Made for the Art Journey Challenge #16 Theme Winter.
For the background I used several Blue Distress Inks and splattered water on it (like Tim's Tag #11 in the Christmas Tag series 2011).
Then stamped the Friends and a few times the Ornament (these I heat-embossed with silver embossing powder).
Used the edge-scraper and heat-embossed the edges with silver as well.
Finished with snowflake eyelets and blue crystals.

Time to distress

First  I put distress inks direct-to-paper and stamped the image. Then added some ink using the blending tool, added tissue tape and decided to tear the edges.
