Black, white & one other colour

For the challenge on Speedy the Cat's Friends.
I stamped the tree with colorbox frosty white and embossed with white embossingpowder. Then sponged with distress ink black soot.

I just love doing resist techniques. On this card I used versamark for the stamp with the names of the cities, then brayered over it with Distress Fall Ink Gathered Twigs to bring up the image in 'white'.

Circle it!

I stamped the circles with versamark, then brayered with big&juicy for the background. Tore pieces of paper and sponged the edges for the 'layers'. The woman is a stamp from Katzelkraft.

Time to distress

First  I put distress inks direct-to-paper and stamped the image. Then added some ink using the blending tool, added tissue tape and decided to tear the edges.

As busy as a bee

Take a Word #33 - Insects -
I cut a piece of cloth and sewed it to cardboard. Stamped some sewing related images, added buttons with twine, stamped bees on tags and attached them.
Then tried to write the lyrics the best I can. It was difficult to scan because of the buttons&twine.

The heart is done with alcohol inks on an acrylic block and then cut out. Isn't the young boy, trying to shave with his dad's equipment, adorable?

Blue

I made this card for the challenge on Speedy the Cat  (Monochromatic Blues), Purple Frog (Mono moments) and Stamp Something (Anything goes). I stamped the images with Stazon Midnight Blue and Teal Blue.

Butterflies

Speedy's Challenge is to use only paper, stamps and ink, no embellishments and Creavil is all about butterflies, so I combined the two. Background is alcohol Ink, the stamping is done with Adirondack and Stazon inks.
