You could say this about the horse on the postage stamp ;-))
I stamped the horse on the background first on the tag, then on parchment.

Bird Tag

For Tag Tuesday - Make a bird as the main focal point -.
I stamped and heat-embossed the bird, then sponged various distress inks on the tag, used an iron and newspaper to remove the embossing, but the bird was difficult to see, so I overstamped with black soot distress ink. The circles with gesso are done to make the bird the focal point of the tag.

The background and stamping is done with various distress inks. The philosopher is stamped on acetate with stazon black and adhered with eyelets.
