Something...

Stampotique Designers Challenge SDC196:

Old piece of paper, new stamp, blue....................

Coby vanWilligenburg is our hostess this week and here is her challenge:

Something old

something new,

something borrowed

something blue

I love this quote.......Get inspiration out of it, make what you want but let me see one or more aspects from this quote. Have a lot of fun!

Where is my mind?

Stampotique Designers Challenge SDC195 : Human with animal head

That was a real challenge, Arwen !
But to my surprise I am quite pleased with the result..........

ATC shaving cream background

Made for Lost Coast Challenge #12: ATC

I made a background with shaving cream and Distress re-inkers.
Cut into atc size pieces.
Stamped very lightly the forest background not to disturb the colorful background, and at the front my favorite birdie :-)

Stoere jongen

Katzelkraft May Challenge : use the same stamp 3 times

Happy happy me, I won the April Challenge :-)

This is what I made for this months challenge:

Lost in the maze

Stampotique Designers Challenge SDC194 : Stencils

Dropped several colours distress re-inker in some shaving cream  and wiped it through a stencil onto the paper.
Then gently wiped off the excess shaving cream.
Actually you should dab off the excess instead of wiping to avoid smearing, but I am as usual not patient enough :-)
But this one I think turned out quite nicely.

Your wings are ready

Seek Paradise

Made for Viva Las Vegastamps April Challenge.

Started with cellotape and a dictionary.
Then took a little bit purple Brusho, spritzed some water over and let dry.
Then sponged with archival magenta hue and distress dusty concord.
Stamped the images with archival black, and sponged some dusty concord on the bottom.
It looks like the tiny stars were glued on, but they are punched out before I glued the card on a white piece of cardstock (doesn't look white on the scan though).
Then I matted it all on purple cardstock.

The inspiration board:

We'd like to inspire you with words like Dictionary, script, stars, moon, celestial, whimsical, zentangle, Mary Vogel Lozinak, checker, tan, vintage, distressed, old, pink, purple, razzleberry, scallops, half circles, borders and more!

Furious cat

For Katzelkraft April Challenge - Stencil.

Use some red

Lost Coast Challenge 10 : Use some red.

Alles behalve zwart

Art Journey Challenge ( AJC #55 ) maart 2015:

12 tags of 2015 - march

This is my take on Tim's 12 tags of 2015 - march

Really loved creating this one.
I used white gesso with the stencil since I don't have texture paste.
Only have 3 colours of distress paint at this moment, but surely will get me some more !
