Sam Read's challenge on Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog this week

SDC209: Repeat Yourself.

First I glued a piece of newspaper in my journal.
Sponged distress hickory smoke over it.
Stamped Baby Cthulhu 3 times and coloured with distress markers.
Stamped the tree and randomly stamped a small swirl.
Used a creditcard and a bottlelid with black&white gesso and fresh lime dylusions paint for the finishing touch.

Vakantie

Augustus challenge bij Stampinback is VAKANTIE

Op een terrasje zitten met een heerlijk koel glas witte of rosé wijn is voor mij al vakantie.

Achtergrond gebrayerd met big&juicy soothing sunset.
Stencil (Tim Holtz) met distress inkt spiced marmalade.
Stempel café/terrasjes onbekend, ik krijg hierbij wel een 'Parijs' gevoel :-)
Kleine stempeltjes zijn van Stampinback (van de sheet die ik heb uitgekozen als winnaar van een vorige challenge).

For Katzelkraft August challenge - anything but a card - I made 2 atc's.

Voor de Art Journey augustus challenge  -blauw en wit -.

De plant/bloem gestempeld met distress blueprint sketch ( besproeid met water ), daarna eroverheen gestempeld met distress chipped sapphire.
Daarna nog met de airbrush en blueprint sketch marker gespat.

Three Wise Men ?

For Lost Coast Portal to Creativity - Challenge #15 - Circles

First put maskingtape on a piece of paper. Then punched circles.
Peeled off the maskingtape and placed on cardstock.

Stamped Shrubbery with versamark and heat-embossed with seafoam white embossingpowder.
Then coloured the circles with the stamped Shrubbery with distress mowed lawn and broken china, still with the maskingtape on.

Peeled off the markingtape and stamped the Mini Anthropomorph Birds.
Coloured with distress markers.

Itsy bitsy spider

First I inked & stamped the arch with brusho and water, then overstamped with archival ink.

Made for Stampotique Designers Challenge #205 : Stamped background using household materials.

First wiped custom made distress inkpad on paper.
Then smeared dylusions squeezed orange on bubblewrap for the background.
Finished -after stamping- with chitchat words, tissuetape and black gesso.

Background made with Distress inkpad Squeezed Lemonade, Distress spray Tarnished Brass, Distress refill Seedless Preserves and water.

Faces stamped on twinchies cut out of a piece of paper made with gelli plate and acyllic paint.

Edges sponged with Distress Walnut Stain.

12 tags of 2015 - july

Here is my take on Tim's tags of 2015 - july.

No 4th of july in The Netherlands, but the colours of our flag are red, white & blue, so I took those colours and I chose for the theme Da Vinci.

Just purchised the hickory smoke distress pad last week, so I am glad I can use it on this tag.

Still am not happy that the fired brick marker has a brownish colour, it is so different than the inkpad, but what can you do...
That's why the ribbon doesn't have that touch of red, but then again I could have used the festive berries (thought came in mind after I finished colouring).

Kathi is the hostess on Stampotique Designers Challenge this week and she's got attached.

SDC203; Use Attachers

I swiped my custom blend distress inkpad (tumbled glass/peacock feathers/faded jeans) over white cardstock as background.
'Attached' the boy & dog with a staple. Stapled some under the dog.
Attached some ribbon with staples and brads (they have been hiding in the craftroom for ages.....) and finished with some matching eyelets.
Really must use those more often, I have soooo many.

Use attachers, the older the better.  Thinking of eyelets, brads, staples, etc.  Bonus points if someone uses all three.  Extra super bonus points if someone attaches Stampotique images to each other

A bit late but here is my shimmer & shine for Stampotique Designers Challenge.

Background distress iced spruce, drops with stencil&pumice stone, then covered with glossy accents.
Stamp first with archival black, overstamped ,sligthly off, with versamark & embossed with gold emb.powder.

Background is done with various colours brusho&water.
Stitched some edges with the sewing machine.
Used lyrics from Kool&The Gang.
Accents with washi-tape; glossy accents on the eyes.

Gebruik 2 of meer labels op je kaart.

Achtergrond dtp distress shaded lilac. Beetje water gespetterd. Stencil Tim Holtz met distress wild honey. Randen gesponst met distress rusty hinge. 4 kleine labeltjes geverfd (oker en bruin). Deel van de onderste labels afgeknipt.

Voor het scannen even op een stuk bruin karton gelegd.

Numbers

Challenge #13 on Lost Coast Portal to Creativity is Numbers.

First I sprayed the background with Dylusions, added a stencil and sprayed water.
Very hard to see now the card is finished :-)
Stamped the LCD background and embossed with seafoam white powder.
My numbers inhabit the trees :-)

Circles

The challenge on Katzelkraft for June is Circles.

First I stamped the image. Then smeared black gesso though a circles stencil in the lower left corner, turned the stencil upside down and rubbed the left-over gesso in the upper left corner. Finished with rub-on arrows.

That is almost impossible, as ALL their stamps are great, but if I have to choose ...... I love this little owl and this time he took the wrong 'tree' to sit on :-)

Voor challenge #233 bij Dutch Card Lovers :

Maak een kaart met één enkele afbeelding in een kader. 
Het mag stempelwerk zijn, maar ook van een stans. 
Formaat en model kaart is ook vrij.

Met scheerschuim, inkt en een stencil de afbeelding op de kaart gezet.
Daarna het kader eromheen geplakt.
Met een stencil en distress inkt cracked pistachio rond het kader gewerkt.
De tekst met distress inkt aged mahogany gestempeld en met verf wat accenten aangebracht.

I airbrushed mermaid lagoon & cracked pistachio on the wet paper; used cracked pistachio & antique linen for colouring the building and pumice stone for shadow.

ATC shaving cream background

Made for Lost Coast Challenge #12: ATC

I made a background with shaving cream and Distress re-inkers.
Cut into atc size pieces.
Stamped very lightly the forest background not to disturb the colorful background, and at the front my favorite birdie :-)

Stoere jongen

Voor AJC #57: gebruik stempels van één Art Journey sheet of max 2 losse stempels.

Ik heb -zoals gezien op het Art Specially Event -  Dylusions inkt (After Midnght & Vibrant Turquoise) op het craftsheet gesprayed en daar de stempel van de stoere jongen mee beïnkt.

Wel een paar keer afgedrukt voordat de print er goed uit kwam te zien, het was nogal aan de natte kant, tja, alles moet leren :-)

Lost in the maze

Stampotique Designers Challenge SDC194 : Stencils

Dropped several colours distress re-inker in some shaving cream  and wiped it through a stencil onto the paper.
Then gently wiped off the excess shaving cream.
Actually you should dab off the excess instead of wiping to avoid smearing, but I am as usual not patient enough :-)
But this one I think turned out quite nicely.

Polka Dots

Stampotique Designers Challenge SDC 193 is Polka Dots.

I used a stencil, distress markers and an airbrush to create the polka dots leaf.
Then stamped one of my new stamps, love those dogs !
