The scanner makes it a bit more green than it is.
I used pink and turquoise color box cat's eye ink, and masking tape to do the background.
Put some glossy accents on the dots.

Viva Las Vegas May Challenge

Made for the May Challenge on VivaLaVegas.
Inspiration: elephant, (faux)stitches, circles.

Mood Board for the May Challenge is:

Happy birthday

Started to stamp Twinkie 2x and cut out.
Stamped again on patterned paper and cut out the hands.
Then cut two partyhats out of the patterned paper.
Took some ColorCore cardstock, glued a piece of the patterned paper on.
Placed both Twinkies on it with the patterned hands and hats.
Finished with textstickers.

The weather is changing

I started with blue cardstock, went over it with white ink (Color Box), sponged the moon also with white ink.
Then stamped & heat embossed 'Picket Fence' and 'Wee Owl'.
Stamped part of 'Weather is Changing'.
Smeared white gesso on the bottom and finished with blue and white cardstock.

I used Orange Pintura and Pink Pinta-Perla for the background.
These are pergamano (parchment) paints that are lying around in my craftroom doing nothing,
so why not use them?

I stamped a large flowerstamp with versamark for the background, then brayered with big&juicy soothing sunset.

April Showers

Sponged various colors distress inks to prepare the background.
Then stamped Relaxin' and colored, using distress markers.
Sponged the raindrops and added glossy accents to some of them and let it flow under Relaxin's feet.
Finished with black cardstock.

Colorful Birthdays

Art Journey Challenge #43  'Colorful Birthdays'.

Stamped the background with versamark, heatembossed  and brayered with big&juicy Soothing Sunset.
Stamped the girl (Chess) with Archival Black on parchment and finished with eyelets and ribbon.

I stamped the background with versamark, then brayered over it with big&juicy foliage.
Stamped the tree and coloured with distress markers.
Pimped a slidemount and placed a picture of an abandoned car behind it.

VLV March Challenge

Viva Las VegaStamps: March Challenge.

My take on the challenge:
I was inspired by the background, so I drew some lines and filled in a few of the open spaces.
Also wanted to use the bottle with the tag (used part of the textstamp on the tag).
Text and swinging 'couple' are from the same plate.

Made a background with a variety of alcohol inks.
Went over it with a paintdabber to create the circles.
Stamped the cat on patterned paper and finished with ribbon and brads.

Stampotique Designers Challenge #137 : Textured Backgrounds.

Tore off some pieces of purple sticky tape (the one painters use), put it on cardstock and went over it with a wash of white acrylic paint.
Used green/blue acrylic paint over a stencil.
Stamped the hands and finished with some brads.

Background is done with Crackle Paint and DistressInks.
Stamped on acetate and turned the sheet so she looks the other way.
Doodled with a bottle AlcoholInk around the image and fastened with flowers and brads.
