De inchies zijn van ribbelkarton, bewerkt met PaintDabber Pearl, daarop beïnkt karton en dan de bloemetjes met als sluitstuk een parelmoeren knoopje, waarop een drup glossy accents.
De achtergrond is eerst bestempeld met versamark en daarna gebrayerd met Big&Juicy Waterfall.

As I do not have a die cut machine I looked at my punches and decided to go with a small flowerpunch thinking of the frase ' Say it with flowers '.

Made this for a contest. Didn't win, but it was fun to create.

Driving home for SDC#78

Stampotique Designers Challenge #78 is daring us to use non Christmas themed stamps for a christmascard.
When I heard 'driving home for Christmas' on the radio, this stamp came in mind.
I used glossy paper, distress ink, blending tool, water, Archival ink, gold embossingpowder.

I love my family very much, so what better way then to honor them with this card?

I painted the bookpage with a wash of acrylics, then smeared a wash of gesso over it with a creditcard.
Stamped the owl&branche (Katzelkraft) and Kitty (Stampotique).
The circles are done with gesso.

Will do the missing techniques some other day I hope.

But......after finishing it was confusing as I think the wings are stamped upside down....

As life got in the way these last weeks I hadn't time for challenge #6 and #7 (Brushles Watercolor, page 49). So I combined challenge #7 and #8 on the following card:

Dit keer was het Carla's beurt een thema te bedenken en dat was "Gebruik 1 of meerdere plaatjes".
