This year I hope being able to try them every month.

This my try on january tag.
Didn't have all the supplies ofcourse, but it is a challenge to use what you have in stock.
I wrinkled tissuetape, distress paints, distress stains in a mini mister with some water for the background.
Painted black gesso through a stencil for the 5 and covered with glossy accents and glitters.
Used rub-ons and a Sakura Gold pen-touch for the letters.
With a brush I spattered white gesso and for the gold accents I used the Sakura pen.

Music was my first love

I made a journalpage for the January Challenge on Viva Las VegaStamps!
My inspiration came from circles, dots, music notes, blue.

I made some atc's with the theme Nursery Rhyme using Stampotique Stamps.

Winter Wonderland

Journalpage made for the December Challenge on Viva Las VegaStamps.

Inspired mainly by snowflakes and the color blue.
I just love these Banksy stamps!

Gesso

November challenge Katzelkraft - gesso -.

I made a journalpage.

Put a few colours of paint on the page and swiped white gesso over it in a thin layer.
Stamped the wall with black gesso & the cats with archival black ink.
Then added accents with various bottle lids using paint and white&black gesso.
Swiped white gesso through a stencil.
Butterflies are done with  paint through stencil.
'Cats are intended to teach us that not everything in nature has a purpose'.

Vierkantjes

Challenge #49 bij Art Journey is 'kleine vierkantjes'.

Ik heb een stuk papier met verschillend mulberry paper beplakt, in stukken gesneden en zo kleine serendipity vierkantjes gekregen.

Achtergrond: vissen met versamark gestempeld, gebrayerd met big&juicy Waterfall, water erover gesprenkeld en gedroogd.
De luchtbelletjes met een lege balpen en zwarte gesso gedaan.

Stampotique Designers Challenge SDC 165: One Stamp

Background is done with blue and natural bistre.

Couleurs d'automne

Challenge for September on Katzelkraft is Couleurs d'automne (Colours of Autumn).

I started stamping the leaves with versamark. 

When dry brayered big&juice Foliage over it.

Stamped the lady and words with archival black.

Made some lines with black and white gesso using a creditcard.

Glued on some paper leaves, a brad and finished with glossy accents.

A Vintage Journey: Challenge 15 - The Colours of Autumn.

I started with a variety of yellow, orange, red, green, brown distress inks on the craftsheet, spritzed water and dragged the paper through it.
Dried with heattool, then wet my hand and flicked some water on.
Stamped the leaves with peeled paint and rusty hinge, cut out, sponged with scattered straw and coloured the edges.
Stamped the trees with gathered twigs distress ink.
Used a mini stapler for the ruler ribbon and glued the leaves on top of it.
Cut out some words ('distressables') and glued them at the bottom.
